The Fajr Sufian Steel Plant has been established in 2010, located at Foreign Investment Park, 15th km of West Tabriz City, in an area of 9000 square meters. Upon completion of construction and obtaining of the final permits/licenses from the related authorities in 2016, with the investment of KAVOUSI KHOSROSHAHI brothers, the plant has been commission. In 2017, the Company obtained an operation license with annual capacity of 97000 tons from Ministry of Industry, Mine, and Trade. Operating in private sector, the Company manufactures various types of steel ingot.
The Plant has been established as a Private Joint Stock,. with investment of Messrs. KAVOUSI KHOSROSHAHI, and managed by Mr. ALI KA VOUSI KHOSROSHAHI as the Managing Director and Shareholder of the Company. It is noteworthy that the Company has hired the local skilled workers and specialist personnel with university degree on basis of the requirements of the Plant, and the Company has 150 direct personnel, and about 500 indirect staff, who collaborate with the Company. In line with the planni.ng of the Company, it intends to implement the strategic and developmental policies aimed to increase the production capacity, and diversity its product portfolio, which is in return required to hire about 100 extra personnel. In addition, the Company has always played a significant role in the regional employment.
The Parent Company has 150 in-house employees, and about 500
independent contractors, who collaborate with the Company.
The Company is equipped with 3 induction furnace sets, each weighing 10 tons, stateof theart automation technology, electrical enclosure, up-to-date steel melting systems, and the
latest CCM line system.
The Fajr Sofian Steel Industry Co. is one of the few in Iran, which
has the necessary knowledge of how to use 100% DRI in the steel ingot manufacturing process.
Fajr Sofian Steel Foundry Canada Inc. is incorporated on June 28, 2021, in British Columbia. The Fajr Sofian Steel Industry Co. owns 67% of shares, Ms. Rana Shadabad owns 18%, and Mr. Ali Kavousi Khosroshahi owns 15% of shares of Fajr Sofian Steel Foundry Canada Inc.
